Remembering the Ferry Building

We are sad to close a chapter in Cowgirls’ history as we bid farewell to our shop and cafe at San Francisco’s iconic Ferry Building.  We are also grateful to have been part of this community, and to have welcomed visitors there for nearly two decades.  In honor of our time at the Ferry Building, Cowgirl’s Managing Director Amanda Parker shares her own memories of the building, and speaks of what’s to come.

Over 6 months ago, we decided to give back to our friends and neighbors California artisan cheese industry–a community that has nourished and inspired us for all these years. At year's end, we've tallied over $20k in donations to the California Artisan Cheese Guild through our Good Neighbors: Victory Cheese Box, supporting artisan and small-scale cheesemakers in our home state. Thank you to all of you who made it possible: gifting and enjoying terrific California cheese for a good cause.
