Pierce Point | Cowgirl Creamery | Petaluma, CA
Pierce Point transports you to the scents and sights of late spring on the Northern California Coast. Named for a ranch on the Pt Reyes National Seashore, Pierce Point starts with organic, locally-sourced milk. Each 7 oz wheel is rich with the aromas of the surrounding pastures. Pierce Point delivers all the herbaceousness of the milk, accentuated with herbs and stunning edible flowers, capturing the essence of the season year-round.

Red Hawk | Cowgirl Creamery | Petaluma, CA
The pride of Point Reyes Station is named for the majestic local red-tailed Hawk that soars over the Marin Headlands. Red Hawk is a small-batch production washed rind triple cream made with organic, locally sourced milk. Red Hawk is for the bold, conveying the character of coastal Northern California and our original creamery. Beyond its rough and rowdy aroma, this cheese has a rich and meaty flavor with balanced notes of cured meats, wild sage, and a kiss of ocean air.

Meyer Lemon and Honey | Cypress Grove | Arcata, CA
Meyer Lemon and Honey 4 oz fresh goat cheese disk from Cypress Grove features floral Meyer lemon slightly sweetened with delicate alfalfa honey mixed into fresh goat cheese — tangy with a balanced sweetness and the brightness of California sunshine. At Cypress Grove, they use the finest ingredients they can get our hands on, and always start with the highest quality milk — the building block for their entire line of cheese.

Grazin' Girl | Valley Ford | Valley Ford, CA
Valley Ford Cheese & Creamery is located on the rural coast of Sonoma County, California. The company produces handcrafted, Italian style artisan cheeses made from 100% Jersey cows milk. Grazin' Girl cheese has a rustic, basket weave exterior while the interior is a buttery color with tasty notes of sweet cream along with blue streaks and patches throughout. It is amazing in salads, sauces, and it is exquisite drizzled with a little honey.

  • Can I ship to multiple addresses?

Yes! At checkout select “Ship to multiple addresses” and you’ll be able to send each collection to a different address.

  • How do I add a gift message?

During the checkout, select the checkbox for "include complimentary gift message," and enter your desired greeting. Your complimentary gift message will be printed onto the packing slip that is placed inside the box.

Prices will not be included on the packing slip or inside of the package. Receipts will be sent to the email you entered during checkout.

  • Can I order individual cheeses?

From our Cheese Shops in the Ferry Building & Point Reyes Station, yes you can.

From our Online Cheese Catalog, we aren’t able to offer individual cheeses. We do feature specific cheeses like our We Love Red Hawk or Welcome Wagon.  Also, from time to time, we have online specials with several pieces of the same cheese like our popular Tam Trio.  Sign up for our emails in the footer to be the first to know!

  • How should I store my cheeses?

As soon as you get it home, store the unopened cheese in the refrigerator for best quality. Any opened pieces can be re-wrapped in the cheese paper and sealed in the paper it comes in. You can also re-wrap the cheese in cheese paper that helps to preserve the cheese as much as possible.

If you don’t have cheese paper, use something that will keep the cheese covered so that it doesn’t dry out in the fridge. Other customers have used reusable beeswax food cloths and parchment paper. Plastic wrap can be used, but it’s better for harder cheeses than delicate soft cheese.

  • Can I create a custom assortment or make substitutions?

For our local fans shopping in San Francisco or visiting us in Point Reyes Station, we offer gift baskets and catering trays.

For our Online Cheese Catalog, unfortunately, we don’t have that option. But check out all of our current catalog - we’ve curated popular combinations that feature the best of Cowgirl for all kinds of cheese lovers.
